So, you need quite a lot of stuff to go on a trip like this… Obviously there is the van. We have Molly, and she is just the best van for this kind of traveling! We actually had a Mercedes Marco Polo, but we came to the conclusion that it was too small for us – especially because we want to do all the biking besides “just” traveling and seeing Europe. So we opted for the Clever Vario Kids, bought with some good advice from TJ Camper in Hedensted. We have the opportunity to have six beds in it, but we only need four, which means that we have extra room for all the gear. The van itself is only 5,99 meters long, but then we also have the bikes on a bike carrier behind the car. 

 

Katrine and Jakob have been riding Santa Cruz bikes for a long time now, and we just love them! Very tough bikes that can handle, what we throw at them, and they just ride and feel so good! We have always used Trailsurfers.dk as our bike dealer, and they provide excellent service, so we were really stoked that they chose to support us for this trip!

 

We are actually not used to film stuff, when we are riding, so we are just started getting used to this. But for the filming, we are using a GoPro Hero 8 Black, and it is really easy to use! Most of the stuff on the Instagram page is filmed with our iPhones. 

 

We love the POC clothing and protective gear, Trailsurfers also provided for us, and we are both using flats when riding, and here Katrine has the FiveTen Sleuth DLX shoe, which Jakob also uses but furthermore has the FiveTen Freerider Pro.

 

Sofie and Lærke are using the Orbea kids bikes, and they love them! Tough, light and simple – and with disc brakes!
